WORLD Team Latestly|

iPhone maker Apple flew five flights carrying iPhones from India and China to the US in late March 2025. The move was aimed to avoid the upcoming 10 per cent reciprocal tariffs imposed by the Trump administration, which came into effect on April 5, and to maintain product pricing. Senior officials confirmed the development and said that Apple transported iPhones in five planes in three days from India during the final week of March 2025. It is reported that Apple moved the inventory from China and India's manufacturing centres to the US in order to mitigate the impact of the higher import duties.
