SRH Win By Five Wickets | CSK vs SRH IPL 2025 Highlights: Sunrisers Hyderabad Beat Chennai Super Kings for the First Time in Chepauk

Sunrisers Hyderabad have beaten Chennai Super Kings by five wickets! This is SRH's first win over Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk and they have remained alive in the race to enter the playoffs! This is also CSK's fourth loss at home in IPL 2025. Chennai Super Kings' hopes of making it to the playoffs now hang by a thread and only a miraculous turn of events can see them through from here on. Coming to the game, CSK did not have enough runs on the board with wickets falling in a heap at one stage and Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite a few hiccups, managed to chase down the target. Harshal Patel was the best bowler for Sunrisers Hyderabad, taking four wickets while Dewald Brevis impressed on his CSK debut, hitting 42 runs off 25 balls. In response, Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down the total in 18.4 overs with Kamindu Mendis and Nitish Kumar Reddy hitting an unbeaten 49-run stand. Ishan Kishan also looked good for his 44. For CSK, Noor Ahmad got two wickets. Sunrisers Hyderabad are back in action when they face Gujarat Titans on May 2. Chennai Super Kings on the other hand, will take on Punjab Kings on April 30.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are inching closer to a win here, needing just six runs to win off two overs. CSK will be out mathematically out of the IPL 2025 playoffs race with a loss tonight.
