Today(Monday, June 25) Mumbai rains flooded the city and once again, the promises made by the BMC and their preparation were washed off in the rains. Several regions around Mumbai like Kalina, Santacruz Chembur Link Road, Dadar Hindmata, Mithi River bridge in Kurla saw massive water-logging and alongside, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioned Mumbaikers to stay safe as according to their forecast there are more rains on the cards for the city. Unfortunately, the city had to ample loss due to heavy rains in terms of property and lives. Rain Wreaks Havoc in Mumbai, Thane; 4 Killed Since Sunday.
However, Mumbaikars have been known to be very strong-hearted and they have an emotional relationship with the monsoon. Not only do all Mumbaikars go out of their way to help each other, they also don't let the gloominess of this weather and its effects take a toll on them.
