If rumours are anything to go by then Deepika will portray the role of an acid attack survivor Lakshmi, who now has become an inspiration for many like her who have been victims of this heartless and mindless act. When she was 15, Lakshmi was attacked by a man who she had turned down; she went on to not just survive this tragic event but is today working together with her husband in rehabilitating acid attack survivors.

It seems that Meghna and Deepika have been in talks about this movie. And as per reports the filming will begin only early next year. Considering that Deepika is getting hitched to Ranveer Singh in November this year the movie fits in perfectly with her schedule.
